Supports the reduction of depressive relapse,
stress, anxiety and rumination, and helps cultivate
emotional stability, attention and overall well-being.

Mindfulness is being present in the current moment in a conscious and non-judgmental way.
It is about noticing what is happening now: your thoughts, feelings, body sensations and your surroundings, without getting caught up in them or wanting to change them.

In this 8-week MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) training, you will learn:

  • how to deal with stress better

  • how to become more positive

  • how to worry less

  • how to find peace and sleep better

  • how to prevent “slumps”

  • how to deal with intense emotions

  • communicate in difficult moments

  • increase your emotional intelligence

  • what self-care is and how to achieve it

  • connect with nature and with yourself

MBCT is a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. Rather than trying to change your thoughts, you learn to deal with them differently. You observe them without judgement. Developing mindfulness is central to this approach. This form of mindfulness has been scientifically researched and has been shown to be effective in reducing depressive relapse, stress, anxiety and rumination, and in increasing emotional stability, attention and general well-being.

Who is this for?

For anyone who wants more resilience and emotional or mental stability in their life.

Practical information

This training course provides you with tools that you can immediately apply in your own life.

For 8 weeks, there will be a weekly 3-hour session, which will always take place outdoors, in nature.
You will learn to meditate and interact with nature through exercises. You will connect with yourselve and
with nature. In addition, you will weekly practise for a few hours at home. This means that a certain level of commitment is required from you.

An 8-week course in Dutch will start in September. If you’d like to take a (private) course in English or if you already have a group of 6 to 8 people who’d like to take a course in English, please get in touch and we’ll see what’s possible.

There is also the option of taking a 3-hour workshop on mindfulness. You can find more information on the workshops page.
